Kareem Hunt: One Pissed Off Runner!

As far as animal threads go, I prefer the kharlos seagulls thread to this high horse thread.
 
So doing some research, this isn't a accrued year unless hunt is on the roster for 10 games, so if the suspension is longer than 6 games and we don't cut Hunt, he is under team control for 3 years, not two.

I am not a huge fan of the move, but I am also not a huge fan of calling this domestic violence or even violence against women. The only hit was by the women, and the issue is Hunt gets into fights when he drinks, not that Hunt hits women when he drinks.

I feel feminism has this one wrong. You hit a guy in the face and you call him the N word and you push his friend into him, you have no one to blame but yourself when you get knocked over because he pushed the friend back then he lightly kicks you in the butt.

Hunt wasn't right, but neither was girl and I cant understand why no one in the media is bringing it up, like she gets a free pass because a woman cant assault a man? Bullshit.

As fucked up as that sounds, here is the easiest way to solve the problem:

"Hello police? I'm a Pro Bowl NFL running back from Willoughby. A white trash drunk neighbor just hit me and called me the N-word. I need an officer dispatched to take care of this immediately. If you aren't here in five minutes it is going to get ugly."

Like I said Hunt was in the wrong too, but there is a reason no charges were filed, she landed the only true punch, she was the aggressor. Unfortunately Hunt has anger management issues and drinking issues and didn't just walk away.

Also the easiest solution is to pay for an Uber and get the girls home safely, even if you want them out of your house, you still are responsible to a degree for getting them drunk, do the right thing and get them home safely for $50 or so. You make a million dollars a year.
 
Let’s see if Hunt can stay clean and grow up from this! If he can then we just got a major steal talent wise. If he doesn’t, since none of the money is guaranteed, we really lost nothing. Even though it hits the PR a bit, this really isn’t a bad signing. The question is him staying away from his issues!
 
I feel like people forget these guys are in their early 20s and their frontal lobes aren’t even fully developed yet until they’re 25.

Not an excuse for bad behavior when it occurs but a reason for it. And I’m less talking about this instance than on a global level when it comes to athletes/celebrities.

These people that are in the public eye literally aren’t functioning at the capacity they will be when they’re 25 years of age, and thats before you consider that many of them don’t have good influences in the picture.

People treat instances like these as if these guys will forever be the guy they are at 20 years of age. He should be punished, maybe even worse than he will be.

But some things I see people saying are bizarre.

You have this backwards. An accrued season is considered 6 or more games.

Q. What constitutes an accrued season?
Six or more regular-season games on a club's active/inactive, reserved/injured or reserve/physically unable to perform lists.
 
Accrued or not, Hunt is a RFA after this season.

If he performs well and he wants/gets a big contract elsewhere, the Browns will be well compensated.
