If this happened in CLE all those douchbags would be throwing out news story after news story about how much the team/coach sucks around LeBron. They are taking it easy on him since they realize they were all wrong (at least about this season).

The thing is Lebron and his people aren't able think like a GM which is basically why he doesn't have a team around him. If Rich Paul could be in lock step with a good GM (not what the Lakers have), it would be scary what they could do. Add that to if LeBron could put his stats aside for half a season and just pump up his teammates stats and trade value. Instead they decide to leak stuff, be passive aggressive, and not focus to actually build something that could last.

Even when he return to the Cavs he could have given Griff more leverage and time to save assets for the future.
 
Also why haven't the Lakers signed Melo? Apparently LeBron's people have put out there they want him and I bet it will be the switch to get them to play better.

Oh well the Lakers suck but Lebron is still marching his way to the top of the scoring list. Only 40 points away from passing Jordan for 4th place.

Happy for him and he deserves all the recognition he will get. Hope he is happy that he’s wearing a Laker jersey for it. I think it tarnishes his legacy a bit. People will be like “man he passed Jordan!”, and then all the other comparisons will resurface, as they always do, except the extra layer of likely not making the playoffs will poop on the whole thing.
 
They should really make the script for Space Jam 2 be LeBron trying to lead the Lakers to the No 8 spot. And based on the drama-fest going on, It may win the Oscar as it is 'based of a real life story' !!!

I love Lebron, obviously, so I'd rather he win some more titles. But, Lakers fans are among my least favorite fans in all of sports, so I'm not upset to see them unhappy. I'd much rather see him in a Cavs jersey, though. Him in purple and gold still doesn't look right and now his games are on late as hell at night.
 
Hate to be spiteful but it really does feel good seeing Boston and LA crapping out right now...Love LBJ but no way do I want to see the Lakers or Celtics ever win a title...the way the league is shaping up with these days with some nice young teams LBJ and Kyrie might be retired before those teams win anything
 
It's been really rough.

With Love's injury it would have been too much for Lebron this year and Cedi and Sexton would have never grown like they did without going through the hard knocks of the season. Still, Cedi and Nwaba are exactly the guys they needed against GS, and Young Bull and Ante would have been good as well.

The team with Lebron probably would not have made it out of the east I guess, but I think they would have been better than last year.
