Watched it all...what a series!
I still don't know what icing is.

Google that, subbing and offsides and it makes the game a heck of a lot more interesting. It's less chaos if you understand those.Watched it all...what a series!

During a Powerplay, icing doesn't exist for the defensive team. However, if a team simply pulls a goalie, and has a 6 on 5, icing still applies.
So if a team did this, and the defensive team was able to clear out the puck in what would normally result in an icing call, but the puck is headed towards the open goal, would the refs call icing, or let the goal stand?
Also, could you explain penalties? I think I sort of understood it from watching last night as if a team commits a penalty, and the other team gets the puck, they let everything play out until the team who committed the penalty regains control, in which case they blow it dead and apply the penalty?
What's the chances that Bob and Panarin still leave?Been pretty quiet here after last year because of my superstitious nature and didn't want to jinx anything but fucking eh, what a series.
Now we get to scout and that TOR - BOS series looks like it could go to seven. Oh yeah, and PIT got swept last night too.
I like this new feeling.

Great question. I think Bob would stay if we unload the brinks truck, which if he continues to play like this the rest of the playoffs, I have no qualms with. He shook off the playoff bust moniker last year IMO, despite losing in the first round.
I still worry Panarin wants to go to a big market team regardless of success, which is unfortunate but I get it - grew up in middle of nowhere Russia and worked his ass off and will taste FA for the first time in his NHL career. Again, if he wants to stay, unload the brinks truck and make him one of the highest paid guys in hockey but make sure you get him tied to a longer deal.
I think the problem is that we don't have the cap flexibility to pay Panarin, Bob, and Duchene (and his recent comments suggests he wants to stay, which I don't think was expected considering his past).
If all three are willing to stay but you can only afford two, Panarin is priority #1 IMO. When he's at his best, he is a true game-changer and there are only a handful of guys in the league like that.
Got that W! Tied series! #TakeWarningGAME 4 TONIGHT,
LETS GO CANES!
