Ok, and?
So how do the bad teams get better?
We are just devolved to pure luck? Instead of mostly luck?
Seeing as 26 of the teams in the league aren’t free agent destinations?
That's actually interesting. When those agreements were made the odds we different. These transitions are always unfair. Like I wish we had these odds is last year
Tanking is the main thing the format was setup to stop. You get good players at any pick. Drafting high doesn’t automatically make you better.
Talk me down from the ledge, Fellas.
There are no fewer virtuous people in business than anywhere else.
Those who claim otherwise just have sour grapes about someone else earning more money than they do.
Agree 100%.No one was talking about sexton Las year and he turned out to be a stud at #8. Let's see what we can do at #5.
I have been a huge fan of Hachimura and I believe his ceiling is high. His game is still not polished yet as he did not start playing basketball at mid age and perfect to have Beilein as coach.I think Hachimura is a real interested prospect. He is 21 but he has played very little high level basketball. No AAU and grew up in Japan. They say he has very little bad habits because Gonzaga go him so raw.
He might be the guy we look back on and question why people passed up on him.
At 5, it might be worth the risk. I like Hunter better but if he is taken at 4 and Koby takes Hachimura, I wouldn't question it.
We still have TT don't we...
Go look at recent drafts and you won't find much difference between the 2nd pick and the 5th pick. In many cases the 5th pick turned out better.
Who do you guys like at 5? I personally like Garland or White. Those are bigger PG's that could fit with Sexton. I am just not a huge fan of Culver or Hunter. Those are low upside players.
Sexton along with Shai and even Miles Bridges would comfortably be selected at 4 in this draft imoNo one was talking about sexton Las year and he turned out to be a stud at #8. Let's see what we can do at #5.
