Do Not Sell My Personal Information
What is the benefit of having HenryMuto post in this section?

Not willing to discuss anything related to the team.

Drive by shitposting.

Not willing to be more reasonable when asked.

Be best.

Man, this site is deep. You guys have code names for threads that i cant even find. This S34 thread must be off in the Twilight Zone somewhere because i just scanned all over the site and found nothing of the like.

Yeah ok. I swear the Indians Forum is the most sensitive by far. The Cavs and Browns fans have no issues joking about their owners. You need to lighten up.

Its not we don't mind joking about their owners, we are just tired of the same false narrative the Dolan's are cheap.

The Dolans are the only of the 3 that wont way over spend, but they really screwed themselves on their current tv contract which is up soonish I believe and should provide 20 million or so more in revenue.

Yes the fans don't go like they should...well not this year, they have been hard to watch, but the last few years the Dolans are missing something like 50 mill or so in revenue from the fans and their own bad negotiating (if it wasn't them, whoever negotiated it)

If the put most of the 50 million back in the team, say 40 mill of it, our team wouldn't look the way it does.

But the Dolans are probably running at a bit of a loss trying to maximize the Lindor window. The finances of baseball absolutely suck, but that is not the Dolan's fault, that is baseball's fault.

So wait, theres some thread where people go and try to get other people banned? Seriously? That seems a little weak unless some poster is going way above the line.

It exists for those of us in Studio 34. Personally I hate it, but the people who get banned usually deserve it.

Its Ben's sight to run and it is his thread, so not much you can do. They do like to keep things pretty civil in here, so the only thing that gets you banned is being a troll,

You have to donate to get access, I came up with the idea, at first it was invite only, that was the glory days of S34, it was awesome, not any old asshat with $5 can get in, lol.

You have access to the best part of this site, EAYOR, that's all you will ever need to stay entertained.

And if you want deep, request access to the political section. They ran off most of the conservatives so its mainly just a left jerk fest. I am moderate leaning left, so I don't mind most of the opinions in there, but they ran off some really good right wing posters with solid opinions because the only opinion most cared about was there own, not actual discussion. I usually stay away for that reason.

@Joe Charboneau be warned that David says he charges $10 for a handjob, but if you hold out, he will settle for $5.

I don’t know how that emoji guy got there so now I’m leaving it

One of the worst off-topic rants of the season, all because @Mr. Orange sucks at comedy.

You see, folks.

Just be funnier and this wouldn't be an issue.

Ive been thinking all morning because a couple posters mentioned the slim possibility of Frankie getting traded this summer if things keep going south. Being that he is under control for what, 2.5 years, has anyone thought about what kind of a haul we could actually get for him? I mean, is there any other recent trade where a superstar of his magnitude has been traded with that many years left on his contract to compare it to? Just wondering what some of you guys who are a little bit more knowledgableon trades and such think about the return for Frankie. For the record, i do not think it will happen.

Is that what they call the worst off-season in years? 120 million payroll and the team can't hit.

Players deserve more blame than the Dolans. Jose is off the juice or something. His top 5 MVP contributions was so huge for this team. We have the worst OF in the majors. Bauer and Cookie have been struggling, Kluber and Clev are hurt, the sky is really falling.

You can't continue batting your best hitter lead-off in a cheapskate lineup. The Indians really fucked up by not circling lead-off hitters on the market.

When you're a smaller market in baseball, you have to commit resources to certain players and hope they perform.

Position players we committed to:
  1. Frankie
  2. Jose
  3. Kipnis
  4. Santana
  5. Perez
Pitchers we committed to:
  1. Kluber
  2. Bauer
  3. Cookie
  4. Clevinger
  5. Bieber
  6. Hand
  7. Cimber
Frankie was out to begin the season. Jose has been awful. Kipnis started bad but seems to be turning it around. Kluber's got a broken arm. Clevinger's out. Bauer and Cookie have been less than what they can be.

It would've been nice to maybe bet on a veteran OF in the offseason, but our front office has been thriving off the option of rather than trying to guess which veteran OF won't suck--let the year happen, and go grab whichever one doesn't suck at the deadline. Really, it's on the players to perform, and whether that's their own issue, injuries, or coaching, that's why we're struggling this year.

One of the issues, sadly, is that baseball is your grandfather's sport. It's slow. It's boring. The games take too damn long. I still really like Progressive field on a warm summer afternoon or evening, but let's face it, the excitement of this current team ended with the blown 2-0 lead to the Yankees. And last year they weren't even in the same book at the Astros. I still think if they can keep things close at the ASG, if the pitching can get healthy, who knows? But it's not hard to understand that there is a bit of Indians fatigue this year after blown 3-1, blown 2-0 and then a very noncompetitive sweep.
