Nope.
Toronto: 58-24
GSW: 57-25
This gives them a chance. Playing in that area gives them a boost. That crowd literally lifts them up at time.
I remember it being pretty tough playing there our first time going through them to the finals to win it all. Guys like Lowry just really, really play better there opposed to on the road.
If Durant doesn't even make it back, which I think he will. Which will be good for a few reasons.
If GS is doing good without him, I believe inserting him back will fuck up their chemistry. And I doubt Durant will just instantly be right. He's not good enough to go start the finals. So he can't be right. If he comes back, he'll probably not be himself.
And that happens, again, I really believe he takes away from the role players A LOT. And even Steph and Klay to a lesser degree, but especially Draymond Green. Draymond Green playing really well fucks everything up. Because he makes them so dangerous when he's engaged, but rarely is when Durant is there.
I don't like going against the Warriors when they're all engaged. They're pretty dangerous.
Obviously if Durant is firing on cylinders, and Steph and Klay are still playing at all-star levels. They're almost impossible to beat.
I'm at least hoping Durant comes back, isn't right (which seems likely at this point), and fucks up their comaraderie.
GS probably would be smart not to bring him back at all, if they get up in this series early. I'd just roll with Steph, Klay, and Green. Especially if they're all clicking. No point in bringing back a non 100% Durant (if he's not right) risk fucking it all up.
If they're down, then yeah, fuck it, you got nothing to lose.
