Check with your credit card benefits to see if you get a refund for Global Entry/ TSA PreCheck fee. My Chase card credited my fee within three days.
Is it really worth $85 for TSA precheck or $100 for global entry?
Yes. If you travel internationally, global entry is great, which is only a little more than TSA. Also several credit cards will comp you for global entry fees. Saves you an hour at the airport coming and going. Is it really worth $85 for TSA precheck or $100 for global entry?
I'd go to Copenhagen. Depending on how far out the conference is, I'd be trying to book a reservation at Noma.So I have a conference I can go to in Stockholm, Sweden. I have a couple things that I am considering and am not sure what is the best course to take. It's a two day conference, so I am planning on going a week early. I can:
1) Go to Stockholm for the whole week.
2) Go somewhere else for the first handful of days and hit Stockholm for the days around the conference.
If 2, then where? I first thought of London or Amsterdam. I've been to Paris already. Wherever it would be would have be close to Sweden, so the cost won't be much different than a direct flight would have been.

If you love scenery and the outdoors, you could always do Iceland first.
You're the second person that suggested Copenhagen. Not sure I want to shell out the cash required for that dinner, but I'll look into the city!
I have a good friend that lives in Sweden half the year. I asked him what the best way to see Sweden was and he also said "Start in Copenhagen"..You're the second person that suggested Copenhagen. Not sure I want to shell out the cash required for that dinner, but I'll look into the city!
