Scary! I really think I had it in January 2020, which was before the shutdown and before they were doing any Covid testing. The ER was so full then that they were putting people in the Hallways.I will say you KNOW if you have it. Mine was the pneumonia version and there’s no ‘I think I have it’…. Trust me, you know!! I hope you never get it. I’ve always been in shape and on top of my fitness…. This disease doesn’t care. It’s just surreal when the doctor said I was about an hour away from slipping into a coma or possible death…. Such an eye opener
I had shortness of breath and found myself struggling to breathe, even though my oxygen saturation levels were ok. I had a low grade fever, my heart rate spiked, and it felt like I just couldn’t catch my breath. They did a flu test that came back negative. My wife & I were both very sick for the next two weeks.
March of this year was more like a persistent sinus infection that stuck around for a month and wouldn’t go away. I was very fatigued and lost sense of smell & taste.
