If we end up with my QB1, who I’ve actually really liked the entire process just because we failed to get Winston, I’m not sure what I’d do.

I will also openly say- outside of Pickett, I do think there’s a clear path for NFL success for Strong, Wills, Ridder, Corall(however it’s spelled, even if I don’t like him).

Once this crazy passes, if it looks like a bridge, I’ll post in the draft thread about it.

You can just franchise tag.. it's not simple for a QB to leave a franchise willingly.
 
Hard sell on Winston of Mariota+Jimmy G.

I really think the 30/30 season sort of blurred opinion of him. They played down a lot, and you just camped on passing. He was really successful this year before the injury because the Saints weren’t playing from behind. I think he’s mobile enough to be successful on roll outs, and boy would we have zero concerns about the arm strength during the winter.
 
Considering the Browns are looking for stability, good decision making and someone who is going to make plays within the rhythm of the offense, I can't see how Winston fits any of that..

If Baker drove Stefanski crazy with decision making and being an accurate distributor to weapons, Winston isn't going be any better..
 
Plan B absolutely cannot be "squeeze this toothpaste back into the tube" - I am dumbfounded by that even being a possibility.
