If Watson goes to the Saints I cannot say I am too mad.

They are a good franchise and he has his beloved warm weather (in a dome anyway).

Saints will probably make the playoffs, and exit in Round 1, but they have a good track record in building winning teams.

If he goes to Atlanta or Carolina, well then, he has a Beta mentality and who needs him.

At least Carolina has weapons of offense. Moore is great and obviously they’ve got CMC, and Anderson is a solid deep threat.

I have no idea why he’d choose the Falcons. Their roster is terrible, they’ve got one good player on offense and it’s a sophomore TE, their defense is trash, and they won’t have any good picks for the next two to three years to address any of those problems.
 
Hoping he goes to the Aints. I would have liked them to take Jameis for a season and hope his Lasik yields some better results on the field. He had been playing well for them before all of this.

But now that this is over... No more trade talk. Retain Baker (but draft one of the QBs).

sounds like its a damn good thing the browns didnt end up with Watson. that best offer thing means the Browns were willing to over pay.

Edit: I go back to the fact that there is literally 1 trade in NFL history that I can find where the team that traded multiple first round picks for a player/pick made out. The Rams gave up their 20 and 21 first round picks for Jalen Rasmey and then won the super bowl this year.

There is the list. No other team that has traded multiple first round picks for a player has ever won the super bowl with that player as far as i can tell.
