Sooooo...who replaces him?
I'm holding out for Vic Fangio.Sooooo...who replaces him?
JJ3 constantly has been making the wrong play when he's supposed to be the deep safety all goddamn year long. For a vet to constantly make the wrong read like that is so frustrating.
What you are is literally in your position name. Safety. Last line of defense. Play like it. Asshole.
Hopefully Flores. Gives the team an immediate replacement if Stefanski continues to falter. Would be an NFL version of Lue on Blatts staff, or JBB on Beilein's staff.Sooooo...who replaces him?
1000% agreeHopefully Flores. Gives the team an immediate replacement if Stefanski continues to falter. Would be an NFL version of Lue on Blatts staff, or JBB on Beilein's staff.

That Jerod Mayo tidbit is awesome--and I had to use a screenshot from a previous post to make sure I gave you credit for asking the question that got me talking about him.
That's one of the reasons I prefer Fangio.Everytime I hear the name Jerod Mayo, I instantly think of Je'Rod Cherry, and I cringe at the thought of him as DC. It always takes me a few to realize that Mayo isn't a current Browns media member.
If Mayo is the best person for the job, sign me up (I know Cherry isn't). I do hope that whomever they pick establishes a pipeline so we can have some semblance of consistency as the DC gets poached for an HC job.
Kind of the same reason Schwartz is appealing. That's one of the reasons I prefer Fangio.
He isn't going to leave for a head coaching gig. At this point in his career, he's been there done that.
This would be nice, assuming success. That's one of the reasons I prefer Fangio.

Agreed.Kind of the same reason Schwartz is appealing.
