Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Garland is NOT the problem! JBB is!
This team is going nowhere until JBB starts RIGHT NOW revamping this ridiculous offense of having both of his big men at the three point line playing hand off with the guards and going back and forth with “slip picks” for 18 of the 24 second clock

The majority of teams that bring their big men that high do so becsuse their big men are a threat to shoot AND score from out there!!!!

Mobley and Allen scare no one out there!
Garland is handicapped by coaching, but I think he’s also not a smart player. He’s part of the problem, but not the MAIN problem. He would become a better player player under a better coach. Part of what Tony Parker became was due to Pop.

I don't wanna make too much about the players post-game comments because I haven't paid any attention to them until tonight to know if they've said similar stuff before or even been asked similar stuff before.

But in a vacuum, it does feel like there's a little resentment there. But, w/o more context, it's nothing.

Has any Cavs player even tacitly hinted disagreement with a JBB dis during his regime? The fact that
they are saying these things now means there is at least some leakage in the Good Ship Lollipop.

Nah, they see JB bullshit. I think the players are class act personality wise, and they'll problabky will never outright throw JB under the bus publicly, but the writings on the wall.

I don't know. Because I never, ever pay attention to the post-game comments. I'm pissed off tonight and you're posting them so I'm reading them. I can't tell you a single thing any of them have said after any loss this season tbh.

Watching the Jazz game after an impulse bet on Nets. Seeing Vangh call a timeout when his player has the ball on ground is coaching 101. Our idiot coach would do nothing. Feel gross rooting for that anti science moron Irving though, going take a shower after the game.

I just mean this game shouldn’t be forgotten. This is what the Cavs look like under JBB, without Mitchell.
No something else is present..they stood up to Memphis although they made some mistakes ..no they were not fired up for this game..they didn't have Mitchell against the Grizzies but GS lacked 4 players..Cavs didn't come out with any fire and defensive intensity early.
I have seen them adjust to what teams are doing..last several games they have not done that.

Kevin Love is one of the vets on this team, do you know the history between Love and JBB? Rubio is another vet on this team, do you know the history between Rubio and JBB? The young players all look up to these two. Do you think for a second Love or Rubio think this? How also is the writing on the wall? Players should be pissed off after a loss like that, probably one of the worst losses in the past two years. This game and the Magic game last year... I listen to most the post games. Tonight the players are pissed as they should be. Pretty simple here...

As always the Cavs played down to the level of the competition. But we've seen this happen so many times in the NBA - a team of backups beats a team of starters because, as Daugherty said, they play "loose and free". No pressure and they're well rested and just playing ball.

This loss was almost predictable. As soon as Poole hit three 3-pointers in the first three minutes I knew it would be that kind of a night.

The difference in shooting ability between the teams was immense. The Cavs will never go 23-for-43 from deep. That was ridiculous. But the Cavs crappy defense played into it.

Looney had 17 rebounds and kicked Allen's ass. He had six offensive rebounds. On the rare occasions when they missed a 3, Looney got the rebound.

I thought Ty Jerome was the difference. He was 9-for-13 for 22 points with 8 assists. He was better than Garland, IMO. And Poole stepped right in for Steph Curry with 32 points.

I really am starting to question whether the Cavs' lack of shooting ability will prevent them from getting to the second round. The good news is Kevin Love was 3-for-4 from deep so maybe he's coming out of his slump.

Garland was just 3-for-11 on 3's and 10-for-25 overall. We needed a better offensive game from him to pull this one out.

I was getting very annoyed with Brad Daugherty's unflagging optimism. He kept reassuring us that the "cream would rise to the top" and that the W's could not keep knocking down 3's. Instead of criticizing the Cavs for sloppy defense and allowing uncontested 3's he was all smiles the entire game. Finally he had to admit he was wrong about the W's not being able to sustain that level of outside shooting.

Once again tonight's loss was the worst loss in awhile. Of course players are going to be pissed and upset. I wouldn't read much into the reaction tonight from the players.

Lavert was asked if he agreed with JBBs' comment about the players not respecting the game.
CL replied that he didn't get that feeling from anyone on the court and that the Warriors
played 4 smalls, had guys get hot from 3 and Cavs never figured it out.
Really though they have played this game enough...you run shooters off the 3pt line ..I mean thats not hard to figure out. I didn't want to watch any post game interviews .
