2022 NFL Postseason

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
You might have had me if you didn’t mention the intentional grounding

Laid it on just a tad too thick
Yes, out of the three that was the most iffy. The NFL defines it as "vicinity" which is vague on purpose and QBs get that non call all the time. I have no interest in this game. Only triggering Browns flashbacks.

You still can't explain the whistle coming down from New York and no block in the back call

Bro he was like 7 yards from the ball Joe spiked it in the middle of a bunch of linemen lol

I'll have to see it again....they cut away from it real quick. If it gets to the line of scrimmage and it's in the general direction of a receiver they never call those kind of things.

Not even close bro. They don't get that bailout.

What you mean is the ball is throw 7-8 yards away from target but SKIPS a yard or 2 away.
Yeah it was clear as day. The fact that it took romo by complete surprise was amazing to me. As soon as I saw it I was amazed they were gonna let him get away with it

Not sure that Joseph Ossai can be on the Bengals roster next season.

I'm all for ripping the officials but give them credit with 2 big plays called right. The IG, and Roughing.
They never want to call that roughing. It needs to be abundantly obvious and indefensible to not call it for them to make that call in that spot

And the bengals player was kind enough to do just that

As a Chiefs fan I’m happy but the reffing was so weird. I don’t know if it was in our favor or just bad I’m not sure.

Anyway Mahomes was clearly limited but still good enough to get the job done. I’m kind of shocked. He used his legs on that last play because it’s like he knew at least one in him.

If Mahomes was healthy, I would be confident against the Eagles. I’m not impressed they beat a team on 3rd string quarterback. But we also haven’t faced a pass rush like this yet so I’m not sure.

I’m fairly certain they mentioned the fact that the pass didn’t make it past the line of scrimmage when the play happened. I think that was one of the keys to the penalty.

Rules experts are free to correct me but I think Gene mentioned that aspect.
