Cavs vs Grizzlies highlights

Edit:

I saw the same habits from JBB and the team during that stretch. And as Rubio recovers more, I'm expecting them to start riding him harder and harder like that. Especially if Mitchell and LeVert both miss alot of games.
He rehabbed for over a year. When he’s in the court, he’s not and has never been a stationary player or a player that doesn’t move around a lot on or off ball.

I am speaking of this game in a vacuum and the time at which you made your comments in a vacuum. There’s nothing about the minutes or shifts he played tonight or what he did in thise shifts that should be concerning or seen as negative.

Does their need to be overall care and management with his minutes per game and length of shifts, of course. I do not disagree with you there.

LeVert wasn’t missed at all; KLove who has been active for 2 games received his 2nd DNP-Coach’s Decision for both games and likewise, wasn’t missed at all. As several others have speculated, perhaps 1 or both are being shopped or are on their way out. Rubio with his best stretch of play in his return was great to see.

Donovan is clearly not 100% and was virtually invisible while he was in. Good to see the fellas show some aggressiveness and heart . Love seeing Evan being aggressive and showing how dominant he can be.

Iv been saying it Mobley is taking a leap and watch out once he gets that strength gg to the league

Solid win as the Cavs take advantage of Adams and Jackson being out to outscore the Grizzlies in the paint 64-44. Mobley and Allen dominated the paint, although Morant had some impressive floaters.

Garland stepped up big with 32 points and 11 dimes, but the big story was the bench. With Mitchell ejected and LeVert out we needed some scoring and Cedi stepped up huge with 21 points and a +20. Rubio was a +15. Okoro chipped in 12 points and 3 steals. It was a group effort. The Cavs did not allow any 20-0 runs like in the first game.

The good news, besides the fact that the Cavs never lost their focus and just kept pushing until the win was secured, was the emergence of Rubio. In his last two games he's 7-for-15 overall and 5-for-10 on 3's with 7 rebounds and 9 assists. He's starting to look like last year's Ricky.

Desmond Bane kept it close, hitting 6-for-7 from deep. And Santi Aldama had another good game against the Cavs with 21 points and 10 rebounds, going 4-for-7 from deep. Without the excellent 3-point shooting of Bane and Aldama this one is a blowout.

Without the presence of Adams and Jackson the Cavs scored more points than they have in a month. The ball movement was great as the Cavs racked up 33 assists, which has to be one of the highest totals of the year if not THE highest.

Good solid win against a team they should beat considering the injury situation and that they were at home against a team that played in Memphis last night.

Well I hope you're right.

Mitchell should just play within the structure of the offense and not try to take over the game or dribble his way through multiple defenders. Run the offense, keep the ball moving, and if he ends up with the open shot take it, otherwise make the pass and cut to the basket.

Exactly.

And Cavs were mostly missing Mitchell again and mopped the floor with them.

Very happy with that performance. They did what they were supposed to do.
I am still very happy with your performance earlier...

He’s basically a distributor and spot up shooter until healthy. The rest of it hasn’t worked for weeks now.
