The worst reason to belive in aliens is because it would be more fun
For me it's simple.Considering the context, like I said, the dude isn't calling a press conference about a squirrel being on board.
And per the rest of the hearing it's obviously not what he's talking about
The guy isn't just playing games with words he's not doing it for attention, there really isn't a benefit to doing this (no money. Why else, to appease ufo believers?) and he's not got a schizophrenic history or hallucinating in many instances spanning across several years and sharing those hallucinations in some weird simultaneous trip with other people, to nip those in the bud.
Only reason for me.The worst reason to belive in aliens is because it would be more fun
Just wait til we decipher the first radio message back. "They will hear you"Only reason for me.
I don’t think we have anything legit to date, and if we did I think we wouldn’t be safe.
Like a haunted house or horror move type of fun.
If there was really a guy with a leather mask chasing me who had murdered my friends, it would cease being fun. If we find real evidence, I’d immediately be concerned for our welfare.
It's honestly a better use of money than half the stuff we spend it on. Did I really need a new chair? No but I liked itI think it’s perfectly fine to be skeptical. My problems is the people that appear to be on the opposite end of the spectrum from the hardcore ufologists that don’t want to continue with this investigation.
Nobody should have a problem with Grusch being able to disclose the things he couldn’t publicly in private, and bringing the 40 + people with first hand knowledge in front of congress to let them testify, but we have a lot people out here trying to perform the biggest cock block in human history.
Just weird aerial phenomena. Enough to say something but not enough to start believing in visitors from off planet. It's also easy to feel like you saw something in a vast sky with often times reduced visibility. It doesn't hurt to say anything or mention the possibility. Can never have enough information, it might be useful to someone or somewhere.Where did they think they came from?

Also, just because most share similar clearances, the need to know still takes precedence. I'd say the US is generally good with that. It's true just because you're sharing airspace with something under the same banner of red, white, and blue doesn't mean you need to know about it at the time (or ever).
I've seen weird things on mission flights where I've made a mental note of it, but it ended up being explained after the fact. But I've only had rather unremarkable occurrences.
After reading the book "Skunkworks", nothing really surprises me anymore. I don't doubt there is some high tech stuff out there we aren't meant to be aware of yet, even if it makes some military aviators look silly.
Your point about clearances is well said. But the fact most of these sightings are tied to the US already has me skeptical. I have a hard time believing aliens only visit the land of the free.
To be fair we usually only hear about the domestic cases but there are rumors of these incidents all over the world. The Varginha Incident (great name) occurred in Brazil and is one of the craziest stories if true. Many locals reported seeing a crash and beings were sighted around the area. Apparently a police officer died the day after when they fell sick due to contact with a non-human entity. I know this story sounds crazy but American journalist Leslie Kean, who was involved in reporting the TicTac incident in 2017 to the New York Times, is saying this is happened. But the fact most of these sightings are tied to the US already has me skeptical. Why do you think everything in Marvel happens in NY? Center of the worldBut the fact most of these sightings are tied to the US already has me skeptical. I have a hard time believing aliens only visit the land of the free.

No idea of the breakdown for this but I do know there is a Twitter account that’s like a human rights against the grays…I think that covers about 95% of the believers, consciously or not.
