Also, being removed from football for two years isn't inconsequential. There are a lot of questions that Watson hasn't answered yet. Some people will be concerned about a bad 6 game sample, others won’t. My guess is it probably has a lot to do with what people’s ranking of Watson was in his Houston years. I have never considered him to be an elite QB. If it was Joe Burrow we were talking about here having a bad 6 games in the same circumstance I wouldn’t be nearly as concerned
But your original post was “creating misery that doesn’t exist”. I’m not miserable, I’m skeptical. If Watson is a top 10 QB this year I’ll be ecstatic. But that’s far from a slam duck
There will be.There's not another vet out there other than Mond?

Do you actually think anyone is concerned about Deshaun Watson's ACL?The same Joe Burrow that blew out his knee his rookie year? Deshaun Watson also missed a big chunk of a season with an ACL injury too btw.
Also worth noting that Deshaun Watson has had a larger sample size of games after his ACL injury than Joe Burrow’s so it’s not like there isn’t evidence that shows he can still be good after suffering a setback.

Cmon man
The concern is in his consistency. Can he put together entire games and sustained drives of high-level QB play.No I don’t. Just like I don’t think people were concerned about Joe Burrow’s ACL tear and both QBs came back playing at a high level. What part of football are people still questioning with Deshaun Watson? It’s not his passing ability or his ability to play the QB position. So where is the real concern?

The question isn't "can he play", the question is whether his performance lives up to the high price we paid for him.
You’re not ready for Cade’s redemption. Or at least RCF isn’t.I would very much like for Cade to make a GW field goal today.
