That was terrible by Day.

The Trayanum reverse was questionable.

Then the Maryland defense just flat out read his 3rd down call perfectly.
 
I don't know what the fuck the thinking is with these play calls. If they can't run it then throw fades to Harrison in the red zone.
 
Unable to do anything in the red zone per usual. Bad offense.
 
Last year Day wouldn't have had to make those redzone decisions because the first pass would have been a TD with Stroud.

So that's problem 1.


But then he just killed that drive by trying to "test the perimeter" with a power runner and then a screen play that was read by the defense.

McCord aint the only issue on offense.

What a break. You can't count on the other team being equally as stupid every week.
 
Assuming Maryland scores coming out of the break, that's where you have to have McCord on a short leash the way he's playing today. Can Gebbia do anything? He would be a guy that wouldn't cause a controversy, but if he's capable of anything he might give them a chance to win the game.
 
Maryland is absolutely scoring this drive so. Will be curious to see how the offense has adjusted.

I see no reason Day would swap after the Notre Dame game, at least for awhile.
