Week 6: 49ers @ Browns

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
One thing about Walker, I do like that he seems like a bit of a gamer. Objectively, his tackle after his pick saved points and maybe even the game. Who knows. Lots of QB's wouldn't make the effort he did there. He made a few other nice plays but also made some terrible ones. That throw into multiple coverage into the endzone at that moment of the game was one of the worst things I've ever seen.

I think if Watson can't go, you roll with him again.

But if Watson is out a longer time and PJ makes some of the same decisions, DTR has an opening to return. Hopefully it doesn't come to that but yeah.
Teams like Baltimore with pure athletes at multiple positions is one of this team's weaknesses. I'm not convinced DTR would have played that poorly against this 49ers defense with this same play calling that looked way more tailored to Walker than the playcalling was for DTR.

Yeah, of course he wasn't. He had, bare minimum, 5 yards of running room. He lost his goddamn mind and tried to be the super hero.
I had a severe Red Right 88 flashback on that play.

Kosar nearly blew the Jets playoff comeback with similar shit.

Obviously we got lucky at the end but the big story, for me, was a beat up Browns team believing they could win and fighting hard all game.
