2023-24 Season | Game #13 | Nuggets @ Cavs | Nov. 19, 2023 | 6:00 p.m.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
DG got hit on the hand or in the balls. Not sure which yet

There were games last season where Donovan took 15 shots and was very effective. He just needs to know to play some off ball again like he did in Utah when Rubio was there. There were some moments he played off ball last season but no much.

Personally though Strus is a such perfect ball player to have here who is smart, plays hard, moves without the ball, drains 3s, plays defense, and can the dunk the hell outta you.

BTW the definition of soft is MPJ. YOu talk about a guy who plays extremely small anywhere near the rim and on defense.

Great shooter. And his size makes him a problem when it starts falling. YOu can't contest his shot.

But good lord is he soft as fuck.

I think the issue then becomes, for Mitchell, is if he's a lower usage player, considering his size...is he still then a max contract player?

Like I feel like he'd cost himself money in the long run if he isn't gonna dominate the ball. Because at that point, wouldn't you just prefer a bigger guard?

Bro this is some ish you posted. If Mitchell sacrificed and bought in and the Cavs contend he is still a max player. You know this, I know this, so does 32 nba teams.

Niang with a floppy wristed missed three. Weird mechanics on that shot of his

I'm hoping they don't take the foot off the gas. We look great right now.

Dangerous territory right now. Need a few quality offensive possession in a row to push this lead back out and regain momentum

Yea I just know why I'm supposed to assume the Cavs would contend, as is, with a lower usage Mitchell?

Like..I don't think that makes them a contender.

But I also don't think you can just suddenly turn into an off the ball scorer. It's not something you can just tell someone to do and then they can do it. What Max Strus is doing out there takes skill and work and focus and isn't something anyone can just pick up tomorrow night and do.

it's not in Mitchell's nature or his skillset tbh. I don't think he can do it and be effective.

But here's the crux: If Mitchell DOES become that guy, wouldn't you just rather that be Mikal Bridges instead? It's a Mikal Bridges skillset we're asking for except from a smaller player? I'd just rather have the bigger player at that point, yea?

I love thay porter dunked that versus laying it up.
