And it gave him the opportunity to bitch at the referees too.
 
There’s way too much bitching about KS and this offense and not enough bitching about Jim Schwartz and this defense.

The offense has been playing above expectation with the hand they’ve been dealt.

Meanwhile, he sees his defense is mostly incapable of getting a stop today and decides to go for 5 yards.

That being said, I blame the defense more than Flacco. Defense was hardly getting any pressure, and that 2nd and 20 was unforgivable. Ward needs to come back.

Moore was open on the corner route and Flacco's trying to make a chunk play.

But that ball has to be on the sidelines so it's either a catch by Moore or harmlessly incomplete. It was a horrendous throw. His one truly awful throw of the day unfortunately.

95% on the defense, 5% on Flacco's only horrible decision.

This is correct. Even without Ward we have a lot of guys who keep saying we’re the best in the world. Newsome and Thornhill specifically. Yet with Ward down they’ve been getting cooked.
 
Going for it was the right call. There was zero reason to believe the D was going to get a stop unless the Rams committed a penalty.

Just absolutely fitting for Flacco to look so good and then throw a fucking arm punt on 1st down of the biggest drive of the game. Classic Brownsing.

It was actually a good decision, he was just late. This is rust. Dude hadn't played in about a year.

Not going to blame him there, and it look like the pass rush threw off his timing.

Flacco played well. We can't win a game like this where Cooper goes out, and he defense plays this poorly. We have no chance.

Flacco played more than good enough for us to win.
 
Listen, all is not lost with this loss. The most important thing is to get healthy.

Flacco was encouraging (enough). All we need is 3 more wins to guarantee playoffs. We should be able to do that.
 
What was with the playcalling on defense today? I mean, we dialed up no pressure all game
