I’d have to rewatch the first half but I don’t think that applies to the first half.

Defintely less movement though then the previous ten games and hopefully this game is more of an outlier but don’t forget the past ten games, motion and assist totals.

Losing Strus who apparently runs around the court more than any other player in the NBA this season defintely didn’t help.

I would also like to have seen CPJ, especially given that Strus did not return after his first quarter stint.

If we’re down Garland, Mobley and Strus were not beating most of those teams.

We did beat the Sixers earlier this year.

We lost twice to Boston away. Boston has yet to lose at home.

Also, we don’t always play like this. We’ve had many games recently where the ball moved and assists were up.
 
Took advantage of the easy part of the schedule, now some tough games coming up, sneaking a few wins over the bucks would be handy

It was a bit dodgy.

Liked the work the rotations had done in the first half and didn’t feel right throwing him in cold late in the second half

Said he remains the backup PG while DG is out and will play in other games, which he has done in some games but also hasn’t in other games so……

Reporting what I heard him say, not endorsing or supporting
 
Mitchell saved our bacon with 45 points, 12 boards, 6 assists, and 4 steals. An incredible performance especially without Garland, Mobley, and Strus. He hit some huge shots down the stretch when the Nets were making their run. LeVert also had some big shots when we needed them.

I was disappointed in Merrill, who was 2-for-11 on 3's. But he did have the 9 rebounds and he played solid defense. Thompson got himself ejected in a game where we didn't have Mobley - what a dumbass. Niang was a solid 10/4/2 in 16 minutes.

Not happy with allowing Brooklyn to score 42 points in the 4th quarter after holding them to 34 the entire first half, but when Bridges and Cam Thomas get going they're hard to stop.

With three days off hopefully Strus will be ready on Monday. Bottom line is the Cavs beat the Nets at a neutral site with three starters out, so it's a good win.

I was disappointed with Merrill’s shooting results but not his effort or willingness to keep shooting as that volume shooting is his role, even more so with no Strus.

Will only become disappointed with him if he has 3-4 more games like this shooting results wise
