2023-24 Season | Game #53 | Bulls @ Cavs | February 14, 2024 | 7:30 p.m. | ESPN

Huh? Back 2 back? 2 best players
Amazing that we went into Chicago on the second night of a back to back with our best two players out sick and still clawed our way to a win

Ultimately I only care about being the 2nd or 3rd seed and not having to deal with BOS in the first two rounds. The record would be a nice bonus but really just about HCA and matchups
Agreed with an addendum. I would like the Cavs to secure a better record than Denver and the Clippers as well.

You know... Just in case.

Isaac Okoro is good, y'all. True 3 and D wing status.
Evan Mobley is taking and making 3s.

Cavs need to find another 3/4 type dude like Wade. Or a 4/5 guy.

Darius actually helped to save the game by playing some good defense on Coby White late in the game.

JA and Donovan still elite.

Individual stats:

Starters:
Strus 7-3-3 with a steal in 30 minutes
Mobley 14-9-0 with a s steal and a block in 31 minutes. Off minutes restriction?
Allen 13-10-3 with a steal and a block in 35 minutes
Mitchell 30-6-7 with 2 steals in 39 heavy minutes
Garland 12-1-7 with a steal in 30 minutes

Bench: 32-7-11 in 27 minutes
LeVert 5-4-9 in 23 minutes
Niang 11-2-0 in 24 minutes
Okoro 16-1-2 in 27 minutes 4-8 from 3!

We might as well dream big, my friend :alc:

What a fingernail-biting game and nutsack-ripping game thread! So glad the Cavs won or there would be keyboard blood dripping everywhere on RCF for weeks!

First of all, VERY promising to see Garland play so well in the final minutes. This was the biggest surprise IMO and it's something we'll need from him more so Mitchell's back doesn't break.

Loved Mobley's and Okoro's defense down the stretch. Speaking of, I was sort of glad Niang fouled out when he did so we wouldn't have to see more of his lack thereof. Still can't wait for Deaner to return after the break so he can lock down some of the tougher opposition again.

I thought JA set some better screens tonight.

As for the Bulls, now y'all see why Coby White drives me nuts, lol. I think he honestly hates Vucevic and will only force-throw to him carelessly, as we saw tonight. I once saw him freeze out Vucevic for basically an entire game; I believe that was against OKC on opening night. He's a great shooter, but a rather annoying player in many ways.

And yes, DeRozan's flopping is also annoying.

So yeah, SO glad the Cavs won this. We can breathe a sight of relief for a number of days now.
that 6th foul was bogus but I was so glad he got that call. It was time for Evan Mobley to close it
