2013 American League Playoffs -|- Wild Card Game -|- October 2nd.

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The Indians are going to roll with Chisenhall at 3B and hope he comes into his own.

They'll most likely add a right fielder to take the pressure off Raburn (note: R-A-B-U-R-N) as a run producer. Michael Young is basically irrelevant at his age and provides below average production.

They can try and keep Kazmir, but Jimenez is gonezo.

Lonnie had a good playoff game, but looking at his season it is hard to get too optimistic about his future prospects. He never really got in this year, maybe it will click for him but I'm not a believer.

I'm not a believer.

Nobody has any trouble believing this.

Quite frankly I'd rather take my chances with him than wasting millions on Young's sub-par production.

If he falls on his face, you've got internal options like Jose Ramirez, Mike Aviles and even Asdrubal Cabrera potentially ready to step in.

Again, for the people doubting Lonnie, he finally reached what would be considered a full year of PAs for his career (PAs every day starters get in a single season)...23 HRs, 36 doubles, 74 RBIs....he's 24, if you think he's a finished product you're nuts.

I didnt realize winning the last ten games of the year was some kind of 'backing in' to the playoffs  seems more indicative of how the Browns won last night despite losing their competent QB and then having Manuel get hurt.

Playoff fever in Cleveland.

They should be 5-0...:chuckles:

Right.

According to the Indians die-hards, you can't be a fan of the Browns and Indians at the same time.

One or the other.

Why do you believe people can be fans of one or the other? What I would like to see is the same logic applied to both teams instead of the emotional kneejerk reactions applied to each team's actions. One based on jilted expectations from years ago and the other from fears of being abandoned from years ago that lead to blind loyalty.
