If you were to make a list of three countries to threaten to move to if the Presidential candidate of your choice isn’t elected, which ones would they be and why isn’t France one of them?

France would be my second choice, after Switzerland. Countryside in the south of France, near good food. Perhaps in the southeast within easy driving of hiking on the Alps. But Pyrenees are good too!

Yes if I had to flee my political enemies penniless I suppose my choice would be different. If they were competent authoritarians (more likely for Democrats than MAGA Republicans) they would certainly have seized my bank accounts
