There's no evidence to this. NYY could sign 2 big names and we could face Cole and Rodon on top of it. Matter fact Yankees are probably in the Ohtani sweepstakes. Boston plays us tough too.

Those two well-moneyed franchises have become somewhat penurious of late.

Curious as to why we only play 2 games in/vs CIN. What is the reasoning behind that?

We play DET 10 out of 25 games in July (including 3 series and the only other 2 game series outside of CIN); neat.

Didn’t we play Cincinnati 4 times this year too?

I assume it is due to the “more balanced” schedules that have us playing all the NL teams.

Yes, but I'm referring to the 2 game series that we only play with Cinci. Just a little random. My guess is we can only play some of these other teams a max of 4 games so we just split it up since we're in the same state?

Ya, it's always been an even split with Cinci on home and away. I assume because it's our "protected rival" or whatever they call it. Need to make sure the battle for the Ohio Cup is fair. Although, they did use to sometimes do 2 in Cinci and 2 in Cleveland back to back since the travel is short.
