2024 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Which was caused by Kevin McHale handing over Garnett to his old buddy Ainge. Pierce, Garnett, and Allen were in his way. I don't fault LeBron for going Miami. He would've been dragged rightfully so if he joined Boston like KD did to his rival in GS. He had a 3-1 lead and lost then joined them.

Different levels completely.
KD one upped him going to the Warriors but it was just following the LeBron blue print. Get to free agency and sign with the best team. Stack the odds in your favor.

People are so biased, just admit LeBron started the trend. The Heat were pretty insane the first couple years with a still prime or close to prime Wade. Only problem was Wade falling off.

KD is the type of dude that would do that regardless of precedent. He's out for himself through and through.

And LBJ isn't/wasn't? I mean, if there's one criticism of LBJ that seems inarguable, it would be that one.

The Heat weren't the best team. They got beat in the first round of the playoffs, by Boston.

He used the idea of a super team to beat a super team.

I really can’t stand the nba, you call that screen set by turner an offensive foul???? But let the Warriors get away with murder for 4 years against us. Garbage league and obviously they want the Knicks in the finals
lmfao

on blatant flopping to boot. Pacers were pooping it up late, but taking that last possession from them in that way was disgusting. compared to what Orlando was doing off the ball for the entire series with no whistle, that was a mild tap.
I"m curious, is throwing a game by playing your JV team in the 4th quarter to ensure you get an easier playoff opponent flopping?

Its not. Flopping and tanking different things. And if you can honestly say the Knicks have never lost a game purposefully to gain some variety of advantage, have at the Cavs. But I'm pretty confident the Knicks have tanked some games in the past.

I know you are a Knicks fan, but man, even biased Knicks fans I have seen have happily agreed that the reffing to end that game was stupidly one-sided. If that was an offensive foul than that certainly should have been a technical for flopping. One was tick tack and the other was blatant.

The Knicks were the beneficiary of multiple terrible calls and would have been an additional one had Carlisle not challenged that foul call on the steal.

Be happy you won, but don't get salty about the world commenting on the obvious imbalance in refereeing at the end of that game.

Did they only add LeBron? Or Bosh too?

A super team of guys all in their prime vs a Boston super team of old guys.

Durant is a bitch. He's largely despised for it.

But there's a reason LBJ is one of the most hated megastars in league history. Cavs fans are just blind to it. But LeBron isn't loved in nearly the same way Jordan and Kobe were before him.

And it's because he, also, is a bitch.

Couldn't beat the Celtics? They won one title. Not 10. So other teams were doing it.

Cavs were up 2-1. They had homecourt advantage at 2-2 and LeBron QUIT. To then say "well, couldn't beat em. Gotta head out!" Is a little crazy to me.

Finally the Cavs broke themselves up the 2nd time around. The Warriors didn't do that. Kyrie did.

All they had to do was stick it out one more year and they'd have won multiple titles. Durant got hurt. And Durant was ALWAYS gonna leave the Warriors after those titles.

The rook here is right. He was following LeBron, even if not exactly. He got those titles then he wanted his own team.

It was a business decision. Home court was locked up, the team was banged up, the best player's health was in jeopardy. Playoffs were secured, no reason to win a meaningless game 82 and risk more people getting hurt. Anyone mad at it was virtue signaling.

The refs want an "Establishment Team" in the finals, it is what it is.

Even if there was a degree of tanking for matchup, who cares? Teams have been doing that as long as I have been a fan (Since the 80s). Manipulating your record to get a more favorable matchup is a tactic as old as time. Why are we acting like the Cavs did something unheard of here?

Or Brunson. Then again Dame got the starting ASG vote not Mitchell or Brunson who were both much better.

Wow forgot Brunson didn’t get picked, to be fair he played really poorly in the World Cup

That was super childish and dangerous for Murray to throw that heating pad into live play like that.

Should be getting a fine before game 3

He was getting abused all game without any calls, the inconsistency in the league is crazy

He didn't start the trend for fucks sake. This is a horse shit talking point. Stars have wanted to play with other stars since sports started.
