2024 NBA Playoffs

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Looks like we have our first road warriors

Looks like the Cavs drafted the wrong Belmont Bruin; Ben Sheppard approaching Dylan Windler‘s career point total (319) in just his rookie season

Phoenix is assembled poorly.

Hate to say it, only because I respect the hell outta Champ, but James Jones lost the Durant bet if he was indeed part of that decision.

The Beal-Booker-Durant combo is as mid as their mid range jumpers.

That team needs a point guard in the worst way.

Mike Conley is on another tier of floor awareness than anyone on Phoenix. If he wants to one day, he's a future coach. For now? He's balling.

Seems pretty clear Jones was just doing Ishbia’s bidding when putting this team together. They went from a very young team with a recent Finals trip to a very old, injury prone team in 6 months after Ishbia bought the team. Plus they fired Monty.

Just hate to see it... I hope the Suns get swept... lol lol lol

No one's hating on the Knicks team. It's their fanbase that sucks.
This is absolutely correct for me. Knicks and Yankees fans are the absolute worst... Yankees fans are way worse though... At least IMO and after living here for 20 years that is my opinion... 2009-2010 season was infuriating...

I don’t think Minnesota gets more than 1 game vs Denver…

If both teams play at their best I just don’t see it… Denver plays so well together on both ends…. Minnesota is just not there yet…

I could see Denver using Jokic at the PG spot just to wear out their bigs…

They're smoking Phoenix.

Denver is needing 20 point comebacks at home and buzzer beaters to beat a mediocre Lakers team.

Bookmark this when that Denver-LA series is 2-2.

I could see Mavs-Clips going 7. Clips have a little more star power (3-2, Kawhi PG and Harden vs Luka Kyrie) and experience (Kawhi, Coach Lue former champs to just Kyrie for Mavs), so I think they advance, but it will be tough.

The Nuggets/Lakers series last year was similarly competitive - 3 of the 4 Nuggets victories were by single digits, and the other one was by 11 points. I said it was the most competitive sweep I've ever seen. It was nonetheless a sweep. The Lakers never get embarrassed, but they also never apparently win vs the Nuggets.

I just think that says more about PHX and how they’re poorly constructed with an aging star, and a 3rd player who doesn’t fit at all.

The Lakers have enough to give Denver a series… I don’t think Minnesota does…

That said, I’m rooting for the Wolves so I can see more Ant Edwards..

What is, 'Damning with faint praise', Alex?

The absolute funniest part about that whole situation is that it likely all works out extremely well for them if Ishbia just doesn’t get an itchy trigger finger when he takes over the team, or if he didn’t gain control until after the deadline.

Look at what Dame was actually traded for: Ayton, Camara, Holiday, Bucks ‘29 1st, two Bucks pick swaps

So, sans Durant trade, all the Suns would’ve had to do to beat that offer was Ayton, CP3, 2 1sts, and a swap for Lillard and Nurkic (plus any filler). Blazers/Celtics still could’ve made the exact same trade they did for Jrue.

So, they keep all those other picks and pieces they gave up or had to cut to make Beal and Durant work and instead have:

Dame
Booker
Bridges
Johnson
Nurkic
Shamet
Crowder

Plus all their depth and flexibility to sign guys moving forward. Nice work Ishbia.
