From what I read he is expected to be a special teams returner. I think with the rules change, the Browns are trying to bring in guys and see how they do with the new return rules. It's really an unknown who will thrive as a kick returner now since no one really has played under those rules.

He is also pretty fast on tape . Worth a cheap flyer . Take enough of these shots,, the better chance you have of hitting

Seems like the Browns loaded up on OL as Thompson, Sundell and especially Cohen all had draftable grades attached to their name.. Cohen very well could have been any of their day three picks and no one would have batter an eye..

Welch seems like he has a chance to make the roster from what he got signing bonus wise and his competition being Paden-Mitchell and Ricci..

Brown will make the PS if he can be a KeVontae Turpin -- return kicks/punts, contribute on specials and make some splash plays with the ball in his hands..

Surprised they didn't attack the RB spot harder but they must feel good about Chubb's health and who they signed this offseason.. I was really hoping Miyan Williams could find his way into Browns camp..

Unless something radical happens, all the defensive UDFAs seem destined for the PS..

I am not going to pretend that I scouted this draft class as well as other years. I consistently felt from aggregating from sites I follow that the real strength of the 2024 NFL draft was going to be offensive line, so I'm thrilled that the Browns kept going back to that well.

Why is this guy getting a tryout? Ship him $800 and a real estate exam prep course. Let him get his actual career started in SC.

If Roger is serious about 18 games, they really need to make more adjustments to the active roster and practice swuad

Active roster should go up to 56 or 58 with 50 available in game day

Practice squad should get at least 6 “can’t be poached all year disgnatuons and those guys get an extra 50k (above normal PS pay) for being locked in

60 w/53 available active game day, eliminating the 3rd QB rule. Have the kickoffs be a part of the game again with a couple of specialists back on the roster. 54-60 do not count against the cap at minimum contracts.

sounds good and I don’t see what the burdens or impracticalities of that would be so it probably makes to much sense for the NFL to actually do
