Wouldn't happen. NYK wouldn't do it and there aren't nearly enough assets going to POR for them to justify giving up Batum and Aldridge. Their fans severely overvalue their players, and might just stage a coup if this trade went down.

Again I'll quit with this trade, but what if the 2013 NYK 1st round pick went to Portland and not Cleveland? I was being greedy there. The trade would leave them with 13 picks in the next 4 years and they could be free agent players again this offseason. If they don't think a roy, aldridge, mathews core can take them anywhere ($38 million per year committed through 2014), they may consider an opportunity to shed aldridge's $65 millionand and acquire several draft picks.

I didn't know the Nuggets have committed to trading Anthony this year...that definitely ruins this trade. No sign and trade for the Knicks in the offseason.

i thought you couldn't trade the TE, alongside players/picks?
