Australia Advice

It seems like a few posters from RCF reside or once resided in Australia. I'm actually heading over there very soon for 2 weeks in Sydney and Melbourne. I studied in Melbourne for 8 months a couple years back so I know the country on a basic level (especially Melbourne), but I need some advice if anyone is knowledgeable on the subject.

-Any advice on good tourist attractions in Sydney besides the obvious? What about some good restaurants and nightclubs?

-Any good travel spots outside of Sydney that are relatively close (no I don't want to see Ayers Rock lol)?

Any other general Australian or tourist advice I could use?

I'm only 23 going with a few people who are all single, so I'm really looking forward to it, from my past experiences the girls LOVE the American accents...
