To me, was that we lost this series because of what our team was supposed to be built on.

DEFENSE

Take a look at these stats:

Game 1:

Magic 107
Cavs 106

Howard Scores 30 & has 13 rebounds
Also Rashard Lewis hits a game winning 3 with 14 seconds left

Game 2:

Magic 95
Cavs 96

Hedo Turkoglu hits what seemed to be a game winner with 1.0 seconds left
Best Defensive game of the series and we still gave up 95 points.

Game 3:

Magic 99
Cavs 89

Held Hedo to just 1-11, Dwight was in foul trouble and we still could NOT get stops

Game 4:

Magic 116
Cavs 114

Rafer Alston scores 26?
Went into OT, but they still scored 100 in regulation
Rashard Lewis once again hits 3 that gives them the lead with 6 seconds left
Most disguisting stat, 17 3's for the Magic

Game 5:

Magic 102
Cavs 112

Turkoglu scores 29 points

Game 6:

Magic 103
Cavs 90

Dwight Howard rips off 40 points on us?

Magic Avg per 4 quarters: 101 PPG

Magic Average per game: (including OT): 103.7 PPG

So as you can see, our defense was just horrible. We could never get a stop when we needed one. Defense was supposed to be our strong point, but we had to resort to outscoring the Magic in this series. If we could have come up with 1 stop in the clutch this entire series we are in the finals right now, or after Monday.
