I think it’s a bad idea to scrimmage white guys against the black guys…could lead to some tensions

Ricky Rubio (left ACL surgery) went through non-contact shooting drills after Monday's practice.​

The video linked below shows Rubio taking jumpers, making quick cuts and running -- all positive signs as he recovers from an ACL tear last December. The initial timetable was 10-12 months, but beat writer Chris Fedor reported in September that the Cavs aren't sure Rubio will play at all in 2022-23. Rubio himself said he's "going to take [his time] ... going step-by-step," and noted that taking contact will be the biggest hurdle. In other words, don't read too much into this video of him shooting around.

Rubio looks good. We will know more when he returns to basketball activities. That should be pretty soon if he is back by Dec.
