Cavs @ Nuggets

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Another game where only Lebron shows up. Thanks Mike Brown for you're quick adjustments as well :(

This team doesn't try. Even Lebron I saw walking a few plays. But overall he actually TRIED. No one else does. I'm sick of it.

Give me some damn players that WANT to win!

Finally I get to see a telivised game down here and I get this.
Ugly and just embarrasing.

It's not working Mr Brown, plan B?

Thank god I stopped watching at halftime. Watching them right now is just plain painful. They will get smoked tomorrow night too. Hopefully they will be ready to play Monday vs. Orlando.

If they get smoked tomorrow im going to kick mike brown in the nuts. That would be three years in a row i see the cavs get blown out live.

Well, Cleveland has been shown here in Australia about 4 times so far this season, and only once have we won, that being against San Antonio. The other games were complete embarrasements, at home vs Detroit, at Phoenix and today at Denver.

well this is a real good thing guys. mybe danny ferry will think '' hey we need a pg'' and go out and get one.

I can't figure some of these players out ....it's gotta be terribly frustrating to Mike Brown to have so few players on his roster that he can count on ...

Drew is still Drew ...he's taking strides in the right direction for periods of time, and then falls back to being the same enigma. If we had a soud rebounder on our roster, besides Gooden, one that could be technically sound at boxing out ..because Drew is the only on we really have in that regard ...then we could look to move him for something of quality while he's on a strong run, and his value is high.

You just can't be fooled into thinking he's ever going to be anything that you can depend upon game in and game out.

Z is Z ...he's just a decent center that's playing on a team that has no structure ..thus, he flounders. Put him on a team with solid structure and an offensive system and he would thrive ..but that's not us.

Eric Snow is our best PG and he's not a PG. So, that's the whole ball of wax there.... we need one so desperately that it's not worth talking abou anymore. I know, he can guard off guards and small forwards ok ..but we don;t need someone to do that ..Hughes and Lebron can do that, really.

We need someone ..anyone who can stop dribble penetration from opposing point guards ..because they so easily get passed every player on our roster that tries to do that, that our defense can be broken down very very early on every opposing possession.

Now, granted . .I'm just giving you the problems caused by the supposed STRENGTH of Eric Snow's game .... on the offensive side it's much much worse ...we have nobody on our roster, at all, that is an NBA ready playmaker ...nobody that can effectively ribble penetrate against an opposing PG ...noone ....thus we pound and pound and pound against teams that have the type players we have no answer for ...

Makes no difference how good or bad a team's record is ..of they have that quick guard or guards that can penetrate or defend ...we flounder offensively and defensively.

Christ ....Mateen Cleaves would bring a viable asset to this team, and he sucks ...but he has a skill set we desperetaly need. We could get somebody for basically nothing that could help our situation, that's how dreadfully in need we are for a quick guard.

Now I'm really depressed. W & G usually brings some positives in his well-thought posts. Even he is resigned at this point. Fuk, we are in deep trouble.

I've been saying it, but E. Snow and Gooden need to be coming off the bench right now. In an ideal world, we'd start Andy and Boobie in place of them... but this isn't an ideal world, and we're stuck with these guys for awhile.

Gooden would slump even further with less playing time. He needs time and attention to stay focused, and we don't have a whole lot of either right now to devote to him. I don't think Andy did a terrible job while he was out, but some offense was missing. I think the only answer here, if Goods doesn't get it together, is to give Andy the starting job or trade Gooden for something with a brain.

E-Snow? If he didn't start, it wouldn't be that big of a deal because we wouldn't miss what we never had. Also, I don't buy into all that "Boobie isn't ready" crap. I think he'll develop more quickly on the floor in tight game situations, and he isn't entirely un-ready right now. He just needs consistency in the minutes he's given and time he's playing. You can't develop a guy giving him 2 minutes one night and 20 the next, then he doesn't play, then ge's 15, etc...

We're doing Boobie a disservice, and frankly I believe that's why Pavs never got decent. Boobie really has talent, but he needs to learn, and a consistent rotation would help him. This bullshit where Mike Brown pulls a guy after one mistake unless his name is Eric or LeBron is old. All that does it make guys really press when they finally get their one minute and they're more prone to making mistakes. Just ask Shannon Brown.

Ferry and esp. Mike Brown: decide. If you want consistency, give it to your players, and be patient. In-game adjustments are more than just substitutions. In the same vein, if you're going to be experimenting with rotations, explore more possibilities. Give Boobie the start at PG, and sit Drew to see if it'll wake him up. Or hell, start Marshall - I know, not a popular idea, but Marshall's defense right now is about as good as Drew's (i.e. non-existent), and the rebounding is comparable.

Well, I guess that's easy for me to say. But this team will not win anything the way it's constituted and being run right now. I mean, if your team can only manage 76 points against Portland and lose by damn near 20, on the road or not, you've got serious issues.

Brown's insistance on playing LeBron 44 minutes almost cost the Cavs their season last night.
The Cavs were never going to win that game after falling so far behind and with the effort theywere giving and way they were playing. Even when they cut the lead down it wasn't going to happen. Only the final score looked a little better.
LeBron should have been off the floor early in the 4th. He and the Cavs are very lucky he didn't suffer a serious injury. It could have easily happened.

Like W&G refferred to, most of the Cavs problems remain on the offensive end and with the PG play. It's almost too late to try to correct problems that should have been more aggressively corrected last offseason.

Absolutely Narl ...no way you go into this season not addressing at all our biggest team weakness. The only raionalization I could give the signing of Wesley was that he was insurance against our weakest link getting hurt ...lol.

We woulkd be so immensley improved with a real pg ..it's just unfathomable to me it wasn't addressed last offseason ....
