Cavs vs. Bulls

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I don't know if this has already been mentioned... but I think it may be true that MB and co. are fast-tracking Gibson's development, as Boobie played more minutes tonight than Snow (and had a better line too):

<TABLE CELLPADDING="7" CELLSPACING="1"><TR><TH>plr</TH><TH>min</TH><TH>fgm-a</TH><TH>3pm-a</TH><TH>ftm-a</TH><TH>off</TH><TH>def</TH><TH>tot</TH><TH>ast</TH><TH>pf</TH><TH>st</TH><TH>to</TH><TH>bs</TH><TH>pts</TH></TR><TR><TD>Snow</TD><TD>20:22</TD><TD>0-2</TD><TD>0-0</TD><TD>2-2</TD>
<TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>2</TD></TR><TR><TD>Boobie</TD><TD>23:02</TD><TD>2-4</TD><TD>1-2</TD><TD>0-0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>2</TD><TD>3</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>1</TD><TD>0</TD><TD>5</TD></TR></TABLE>

Well, it's a start... maybe this is the beginning of the end of Snow's days as a starter. Sure 10 assists last night was great, but he had 3 turnovers and zero points on 0-for-2 shooting to go along with it.

I think if we've determined that trading Snow is impossible right now, then we certainly don't need to showcase him anymore.

My main concern right now, believe it or not, is Pavs... what are we doing with this guy? 3 points a steal and a rebound in 7:47 doesn't look too bad. He should get more minutes... where he's going to get them from I'm not sure.

Also, what happened in that third quarter? This is a trend I thought might get sewn up this year, but we consistently get torched in the third. For those who are knowledgable, is there some post-halftime adjustment that opposing coaches are making that Mike Brown doesn't know how to handle? If not, maybe he should give some thought to a different starting 5 coming out in the 3rd quarter...

And someone <b>please</b> tell Drew to stop shooting that 20-foot jumper. I'd rather him get called for charging trying to take it to the hole than shooting that lame duck.

Last thing: where's LeBron's D? Luol Deng shoots 15 of 19 from the floor? Are teams just deciding to take it at LeBron? I mean, Deng takes more shots tonight than anyone else for the Bulls. Maybe I'm way off base on this one, but it concerns me also...

Not a good loss tonight. Not good at all.

ANyone watch Mike Brown's interview on Cavaliers In The Post? Once again, sounding like a broken record, harping on defense this, defense that. Im not denying defense was a major problem in this game, but its still only half of the game. The Bulls had what a 20-2 run or so in the third? Anytime a team does that to you, your defense is weak, but you must also look at the offense with equal weight. The offense still looks very stagnant at times. But MB continues his lopsided focus that defense is the main reason this stuff happenes to the Cavs.

He made 4 main points in the interview. Talked about defense a lot, giving up offensive rebounds (which is defense-related), talked about digging deeper (which I agree with), and briefly mentioned the turnover number (the only thing he talked about that somewhat related to the offense). Its clear to a layperson like myself that the offense needs serious work. Often still its give the ball to Bron and see what he can do. No flow offensively. Maybe MB's so called offense has them thinking too much out there, maybe it needs simplified.

I just have my doubts that MB has what it takes to run an effective NBA caliber offense. Its not all defense, look at how an offensive team like the Suns keep on winning. Im still not convinced MB has what it takes to make the Cavs a contender.

Yet another patented DannyFerry/MikeBrown loss... Oh yeah, I forgot Mike this is a process. :chuckles:

His favorite phrases in the interviews:

"We must dig deeper"

"We have to find away"

He uses these two in every interview..

And Ferry uses this one in every interview: "Corporate knowledge"

I can't believe management lets this moron run the team...we truely are boneheaded...
