Cavs vs. Hawks (Jan 2nd, 7:00pm)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
One against 5 on offense and #23 wins. The rest is defense. Let's put Sasha on a spit and roast him.

Moo

A win is always a good thing but if LeBron doesn't go on a hot streak and take over the result could have easily been the opposite.
That 1st half was ugly.

All these days off and they're still having trouble with the quicker double teams of LeBron. Ball has to move much quicker.
I think Z may have only gotten 1 shot attempt within the offense. The rest were off of rebounds. That can't happen.

Good D tonight. Varejao and Gibson solid off the bench. Nice to see Larry hit a few jumpers. Those last 3 barely got over the front of the rim so I don't see the beginning of a hot streak for him.

I shouldn't complain too much. A win is a win.

Good defense and great offense when it counted by Lebron.... Thats been the the Cavaliers in the past two seasons. Its finally nice to see it this year.

I do have one question/comment. In the middle of the 4th quarter Boobie Gibson hit a 3pter and next possession after a timeout he knocks down a 6 foot floater in the lane... Why was he pulled out of the game right after that? He was playing good defense and he seemed to be in rhythm on offense. That made little sense to me.

Max-

I believe you, I, and a couple others were major factors in lighting this fire under LBJ and the Cavs..

Congrats on our victory !!

True dat...break out the purple sprizzzite.

What's up with all the complaining about LeBron? He's got 34 points on 59% shooting and absolutely took over in the 2nd half. Is it an inside joke I'm not privileged to? :gap:

We don't like Lebron or anything he stands for around these parts. Feel free to like Daniel Gibson and Devin Brown though.

foul trouble ...5 fouls with 8 to go...

Quite a good effort tonight. Atlanta are in form and have some nice players who can get hot. We restricted Johnson and Smith for the most part, which was impressive.

Good to see Larry have a solid game, and LeBron dominate after the break. Our bench guys contributed and the defense was solid. Nice win.

whew...at the end of the first half i thought this was gonna be like the new orleans game, lebron hung over u 'til it was too late and larry so wasted he couldnt see the rim.well glad i was completly wrong.

Wasn't able to see the game, but that sounds like Mike Brown classic coaching strategy. The only logical explanations I can think of are he didn't match up well defensively or he was hurt or tired and pulled himself out, of course, those probably aren't why.
