Championship Ring / Banner Ceremony?

I know this is a few months away, but the championship rings will be presented to the Cavs during their first game of the '16-17 season, right? Same for the unveiling of the championship banner?

How does it work if some of this year's players are no longer with the Cavs next season? Do they still attend (if possible) to receive their rings or no?

I'm already plotting how I can get to that game. Sounds fun!

It will happen the first home game of the season for the Cavs, and I would expect it to be scheduled on the opening night of the season (likely very late October).

Players who retire (or aren't under contract) might attend the ring ceremony. Players who have moved on to other teams typically are presented their rings separately or privately.
