Cleveland @ Miami

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
^ Agree. Gooden played Shaq alright but Mourning owns him.

Who let Walker open for that 3 anyway?

Our team is a bag of wussies outside Z and Andy, Mourning drills us all game and we take it like prison *****3s..

Oh well CHECK THE BROWNS BOARD FOR MORE SIGNINGS!!!

Heh, not anymore, Graham in for Jones.

Good loss by the Cavaliers, we'll do it again sometime soon that's a promise..

Wow, tough loss especially after 3 good quarters.

A very poor game by Mike Brown....again. What is troubling for me is he doesn't seem to be learning from his mistakes. He acknowledges his mistakes in interviews, then he goes out and does them again. I just don't get it. I rarely see him make in-game adjustments when we start to lose a lead. We almost never run an effective play out of a timeout. And his biggest problem continues to be his rotations. He has me concerned.....the "rookie coach" excuse only works so long.

Should have been a win. If the Cavs head coach and his staff weren't completely incompetent offensive coaches they would have won.
I agree with Maximus. Brown isn't inspiring much confidence. I didn't think the Cavs were any longer in a place where they could live with the struggles of a rookie coach.

Once again Z is ignored. This time in the 2nd half. Cavs were playing well when they were looking more to Z and the whole team was getting involved. When they returned to the all LeBron all the time offense things started to fall apart.

LeBron's final numbers look nice but he threw up some terrible shots today and dominated the ball too much. The offensive "system" can also be partially blamed for that. At least he did drive at times and go tto the line quite a bit instead of settling for the deep jumpers.

I think we saw today why Gooden shouldn't be back, especially if it will cost a lot. He continually is in the wrong place defensively and misses rotations. The Cavs can't go forward with he and Lebron as their starting F's. Neither is the greatest defender and both are lazy on defensive rotations.

Somebody should have planted Mourning on his ass today. You can't let a guy get away with swinging elbows and cheapshotting. Cavs once again back down from a challenge. Bring in Jahidi White to bang some opponents around when this stuff happens.

Better effort today but better coaching and a better system would have meant a win instead of a loss.

Mike Brown apears to be making alot of mistakes, but, he's got a tough assignment ...the pieces just aren't there. But, the ones he's got he isn't getting their potential out of them either. He's not just a rookie coach, but a very young and inexperienced coach, period. One that progressed very fast to get up to a head coaching position, but, he's not ready for primetime .,.,obviously. He's 3/4 of the way through his 1st year as a head coach, at any level...at the age of 35. To suggest he's not learning fast enough I think we have to get things in perspective loking at the big picture here. At 35 I was head coaching my 1st high school team, and I'd spent 12 years in coaching ...five at the college level. So, I can appreciate the learning curve he's been on the past 4-5 years in the NBA. I think we have a winner in this guy, but, we gotta realize that 3/4 of the way into his 1st season as a head coach, with a team that has over half it's roster filled with limited, one dimensional role players isn't providing him with alot of tools to work with. He's in an impossible situation, with a team needing alot. In aperfect world he's earning his stripes as a head coach with a rebuilding team out of the playoff spotlight, because he's at a point in the season where he's going to be getting exposed ....we gotta expect it and accept the reality of the situation.

Oh, and agree with the post before last ....we are as pussywillow soft as any team in the NBA in a long while. Drew Gooden .....I don't know where to begin with that guy ...but, my opinions of him aren't way far behind those that I have for Damon Jones. You don;t win with players like these ....you just don't.

best move along about your days and forget about it. Did we ever think we had a chance to begin with?

Typical Cavs....

We are just not there yet, and we do need to get rid of about half these guys...

The sad part is, when you're up 15 and you know you're still going to lose. that's not good... :chuckles:

Are y'all familiar with the concept of a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy?!!!

To give up on a team before a minute is played, to believe in a loss with much time to play and the team still in it... is Wimpy. Cavs had a chance until Walker hit that dagger.

To believe or not to believe, that is the question......

I hope the players dont play with the mindset y'all have........

HPD,

You're the biggest 'GEE GOLLY' GUY I know....

If all else fails, you will die a very happy man.... :chuckles:

Naaaaaaah, i know when to be serious. Many fans take NBA Basketball too serious. Its a game of 5 men vs 5 men to see who is better at throwing a ball into a hoop. A loss in the NBA dont bother me too much. Worst Case....the Cavs lose the rest of their games and miss the playoffs. So what? Is the world over? Its easier to believe in winning when you dont fear losing......

However, when it comes to serious topics, im not so 'Gee Golly'. You know what i mean.......

Believing in your NBA team is rather easy, compared to believing in other more important topics.....
