Are return yards counted for running backs and WRs in your league? In mine they count for Team Defense.

In my league, it's like this:

punt return yardage: 15 yards = 1 point
kick return yardage: 25 yards = 1 point
returned TDs = 6 points

If you used that scoring for position players, it would drastically increase the value of return men. Bush would be a top RB, I don't know, maybe even THE top RB. In my league, Team defense is a misnomer. It should be Team Defense/Special Teams. (It's actually called that on yahoo, or at least it was when I used to play there. I'm on fanball now.) Defenses get points for returns, blocked FGs, blocked punts, etc.

What I'd actually like to see is Team Special Teams as a separate player. I would get rid of the kicker entirely, and have kicking, returns, blocks, all rolled up in one player. I'd even like to work punting in there, like punts that net 50+ yards or punts inside the 20 earn 1 point. Kickoffs inside the 20 earn a point, touchbacks a half point, etc.

Right, b/c it's just 1 point per 100 yards. He's 31st at his position in my league (with no return yards), which makes him a backup. Since 20 start, he's either a poor #3 back, or a good #4 back.
