I have cooley, but i think shockey is better not a wash. The problem is you dont trade away an every week player..ie Jones-Drew and not get back a player you play no matter the match up.

I wouldnt do this trade, the only position you improve is TE. TE is not as an important a position as qb or rb and shockey is only marginally better the coolege.

McNabb loves throwing to his TE in the RedZone as well, so I expect TD's for Cooley to go up...Other than that I see Shockey and Cooley as pretty even.

If you do this just give up on this team for the year. You can get better TE's off waivers than Shockey and Favre is a week away from destroying his ankle and season. Jones-Drew had one bad game, he will be fine.

Agree with everyone on the board. Also, for future reference, Cutler is going to throw the ball a shit ton this year. Unless you're getting one of the elite four -- Manning, Brady, Rodgers and Brees -- you shouldn't feel like you need to upgrade your QB.
