I had my hard drive reformatted last week and had everything I had wiped out. After re-downloading Firefox, I've told the program to remember all of my passwords. However everytime I close Firefox, I get logged out of RCF. I have the "Always clear my private data when I close Firefox" box unchecked. This never happened on Firefox before last week.

Any ideas? Its really a pain to have to log in every time I visit the site.

Try going to Tools--Options--- and under the Privacy tab click in the chekcbox for "Accept cookies from sites" or you can go to the "exceptions" button next to that, enter the web address for RCF (http://www.realcavsfans.com) and click the "allow" button.

Still not keeping me logged in though.

To clarify, every time I load RCF after previously closing Firefox, I'm prompted for my User Name and PW, which show up once I enter the first letter of my User Name. Its a minor inconvenience but nothing major. I've just noticed its happening on other sites like Yahoo, Facebook, etc so I must have some sort of weird cookie settings.

Internet Explorer keeps me logged in but Firefox is so much quicker than IE....

In firefox, when you enter a username and password, a bar appears at the top of the window asking if you want firefox to remember the u/n and p/w. Click always on that. If it is not popping up, maybe there is some blocker enabled.

Under the Security Tab (Tools - Options), there is a Passwords field. I have "Remember Passwords for sites" checked. Check to see if you that box checked as well.

It remembers the passwords, it just doesn't keep me logged in the next time I start Firefox. Once I enter the first letter in my User Name, the rest of the user name and password is 'auto-completed'. Before my laptop was reformatted, I could just open Firefox, go to those sites, and already be logged in.

1) Close Firefox
2) Go to Start Menu--Run and type in "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ " without the quotes obviously
3) Open the folder
4) Delete file cookie.sqlite
