It hurts my eyes to read the articles on the homepage because of the gray on black colour scheme. any chance you could change it?

Doesn't bother me.

I doubt it'll change. Unless there are a lot more "complaints".

White on black would hurt the eyes even more. We already tested it out.

It was bothering me too, but I found that you can change the default font setttings (at least in firefox anyways). The crappy thing is that you have to change it back to see any webpage's normal font output.

In firefox, go to Tools --> Options

Then go to the Content Tab. Halfway down you'll see "fonts and colors", and you can change your font size if you want.

Go to Colors..

Choose the color combos you want, and then uncheck "Allow pages to use their own colors.."

There probably is a way to do it in other browsers (ie, safari, ect.), and there might be an easier way for firefox, but at least this worked for me.

In Internet Explorer,

Go to Tools----> Internet Options

In the General Tab (1st one), all the options you need are at the bottom under Appearance.

Accessibility gives you the option to ignore webpage fonts and colors, changing them to the windows default. If you want to change the colors from the windows default, go to Colors under Appearance, uncheck "Use Windows Colors", and choose what you prefer.
