Yahoo.com - of the Minnesota Twins will have major surgery on his left elbow and is likely to miss the 2007 season.

Liriano, who went 12-3 with a 2.16 ERA as a rookie, will have Tommy John surgery on Monday in California, the team said Friday.

The ligament transplant procedure usually takes at least a year for recovery.

That's too bad he was a deluxe talent as a rookie..would have had a tougher go since teams can gameplan against him now but hey..it's a divisional foe..with Radke retiring their staff is gimped..

They're also reporting the Indians are out for the 2007 season...

LMAO. Rep. I just find that funny...

Liriano sucks for Minnesota. Never wanna see that.

There goes the Twins season.. There pitching was the strength last year and why the won so many games.

Two of the 3 starters from last season will be out... Good news for the Indians.
