Game 64 | Kings @ Cavs - 7 PM - FSN Ohio

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
^ Exactly. Those early Newble shots were completely unexpected and morphed the complexion of the game into...I don't know...the Twilight Zone or something.

Larry did a great job after the poor start. Sasha likewise. Ilgauskas troubled them all game, and anything like that from Ira is like winning the lottery. All the rest of the crew chipped in. Oh happy days.

Longest winning streak of the season.

At Memphis (worst team in the NBA) tomorrow night!

Wow, these guys just ball without Lebron in there. We should just flat out rest Lebron whenever we're playing sub .500 teams. Everyone had a good game out there tonight. Ira Newble hit 3 treys on 3/3 from the arc. We will ignore the 2 missed bunnies and the 1/3 from the free line. On D, he played well matched up against Artest. Musta been a let down for Ron though, thought he was going to get to go up against Lebron and instead he gets lit up by Ira Newble.

Z was a freak out there 19 points on 9 shots, 10 boards, 7 assists, 2 blocks, and a steal. Pavs was able to drag himself out of a slow start and ended up with 25. Shannon Brown actually attempted a dunk where he didn't take off from 12 feet out and hey, it goes in. He should do the dunk contest next year, and then bring Lebron to help him out on a few, I bet they could do some crazy stuff. Marshall even got in on the dunking, able to flush one down on some random Kings bench dude with 45 seconds left.

Theres no way Gibson comes back to starting PG now, Larry is the closest thing to a point guard this team has had since Jeff McInnis got injured. Hes actually doing everything we've wanted out of a PG, handling, creating shots for other guys, hitting open shots, and playing some nice D.

Unfortunately, the Kings fouled Dwayne Jones with 9 seconds left to prevent him from scoring, so he was the only Cav unable to get on the board.

9-2 without a LeBron. That's an amazing interesting stat that isn't easy to completely explain.

Good things can happen when the ball moves and everyone gets involved. There's no reason why that can't continue and the coaching staff has to make a total effort and have the philsophy to have it continue. It's great to have LeBron to go to but it doesn't have to be all LeBron all the time.

I still can't believe that Ira Newble got the start. He produced alright so it managed to work. I still think Mike Brown is pressing his luck with Newble in the rotation. Against quality opponents and in critical games things will be different.
We also should never see Newble and Snow on the floor at the same time.

Great easy win and nice to see others given the chance to produce.

Great win... what more could you ask for? Newble canning threes, Sasha with 18 in the third... and this great pic from Mr. Pollard:
