Countdown the days until Braylon signs, he missed Romeo's first practice today at 3:30 Savage said that they had started negotiations a while ago but haven't come together on a deal. They said they met last weekend and this past Wednesday but nothing yet. The Browns are no strangers to hold outs Braylon is the 6th year in a row that our 1st rounder has missed camp. No reason for alarm yet though as the top 23 1st round selections haven't come to terms with their teams either. Braylon was reportedly seeking around the neighborhood of 20-24 million in guaranteed, since the 49er's gave Smith the most guaranteed money for a rookie ever in 25 million. But anyway if you hear any news on negotiations between the Browns and Braylon feel free to put them here.

We presented Braylon's agent Lamont Smith with a new contract offer but he was out and received it at 6:00 p.m. so he looked it over for a bit and hasn't responded yet. Some progress has been made the Buccaneers signed Carnell "Cadillac" Williams to a deal that could be up to 30 million 13 or so in guaranteed. This helps because the 2 picks to sign are 2 picks before and 2 picks after Braylon signed so it's only logical to give him something in between and Savage said this speeds up the process a lot..
