Was thinking since it seems 75%+ are from the NE region of Ohio on here, thought it could possibly be useful to have like a mini-craigslits for RCF users?

Or not

just an idea (apologize if this has been discussed before)

I'd definitely support this.

I like the idea, but I don't think it would work here.

It just opens up a chance to have people screw up this forum by scamming others, and then we start losing posters. Let's keep the kick ass shirts as the only wares offered here.

Could be a hell of an idea if the world wasn't full of heartless pricks that want to scam good people.

is it difficulst to incorporate a Vbulletin feedback system under users avatars?

I have no idea of the difficulty of something like that, but I'd rather not have any chance of scamming being associated with RCF.

I'd support it.......Xsabre can be the resident police...if someone scams someone....he'll fuckin find you....and it won't be pretty.

I think it would be good. I don't think there would be too many people on this board that would scam somebody. It could be a good idea with a common interest of Cleveland/Cavs material but of course I know most of it would likely be anything and everything.

Oh so true. I know of quite of few forums who have this, and those forums are known for being a bunch of idiots and lowlifes, out to make a buck off of unsuspecting and inexperienced users. It doesn't work. If you wish to keep the forums clean and clear of attracting those types of people, you keep out stuff that has to do with selling, trading, or bartering. It can only have one ending.... badly.

I disagree. Everything is possible - including a B/S/T thread doing OK.

I was going to ask this as well. Why wouldn't you make a rule that no money changes hands over the internet, only in person dealings. I've bought tickets off of people on here before and that is something you could scam easy.

I think a buying/selling/trading especially for video games would work well on here. Just make a post above that RCF reccomends you meet the person in a public place and don't send them money without the product in hand.

If you do want to sell anything on here, it would be easy enough to set it up where any and all payments are made through PayPal. That way, if there is any sort of scam, we will be able to get our money back. It may take some time to get it, but PayPal has seemed to always get me my money if I was scammed.

I've done literally hundreds over of transactions over the internet and dozens through Craigslist and have only had one bad experience - and that was through fault of my own ...

Anyway, I think the only way a B/S/T section would work is if we limited all dealings to the Cleveland area..
