I know this is off topic, but I need a little help... (Thanks Button)

Can ANYONE tell me how to "Thank" someone's post? I don't seem to have a thank button next to anyone's posts on here, and I know you guys would never mind a little more rep...

Mods, I apologize for posting this here, but I've looked EVERYWHERE on here to try and find an answer, but to no avail.

Can anyone help out a fellow RCF'er? Or at least explain why I don't have one? Haha. :chuckles:

you have to have.. 50 or so posts before you can. it will show up next to the quote box when you can

In a previous thread on this topic, another user claimed it was 25 posts until you get the "thanks" button. So, you may get to it before 50.

I thanked bob2the2nd on your behalf.

Take a look around threads in "Ask the Staff" if you're looking for other tips.

If you want to thank someone prior to the button showing up, you can click on the black "head and shoulders" looking figure in the lower LEFT corner - called "add to reputation"

I want to know why some members are allowed to call other members every name in the book?

It seems that some can write anything they wish, and others get scolded for the same. Yeah, this is off topic of this thread, but I didn't want to start a new one.

I'm not happy at all.

Contact a moderator / admin with a PM if you have a personnel gripe. A post like this will only incite things further. You know a little like making racist remarks and the like.
