Lady Bucks win the conference

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
The only other program that is at the top in almost every sport is Texas. OSU is holding it down. :king:

This is pretty impressive:

Women's Basketball: The Big Ten Conference season accolades have been announced and guard Kim Wilburn has been named Defensive Player of the Year, Head Coach Jim Foster has been named Coach of the Year and for the second year in a row, center Jessica Davenport has been named the consensus Big Ten Player of the Year.
Jessica Davenport

Davenport, a junior, is the fourth player to win the honor twice. No one has won the it three times. Davenport led the league in scoring (20.4 ppg), field-goal percentage (66.2%), blocked shots (3.5 bpg), and was second in rebounding (8.2 rpg).

Wilburn is the first Buckeye to ever win Defensive Player of the Year in the Big Ten. She swiped the ball at the rate of 2.25 steals per game in conference play, and 3.15 per game for the season. Her 353 career steals ranks first all-time for OSU and second in the Big Ten. Wilburn needs just three steals in the conference tournament to set the event career record and 19 through the end of tournament play (Big Ten and NCAA) to set the Big Ten career mark.

This is Head Coach Jim Foster's second consecutive Coach of the Year award. For his career, Foster has racked up 602 wins, with nearly 100 of them since coming in Columbus (98-27). Only 12 coaches have accumulated over 600 total wins in the NCAA. He is the third Big Ten coach to do so.
