Holy crap, I just noticed what was missing from Wade's defense of LeBron. There was no mention of the elbow or any other injury.
That is just incredibly telling. If LBJ was hurting so badly that he actually had to shoot a free throw left-handed, wouldn't that be the very first thing his friend would have mentioned in his defense? "How dare anyone criticize LeBron for quitting when he was palying with an injury liike that? It's the unanswerable defense, blindingly obvious if true. And surely, LBJ would have told his best buddy that he was hurting that badly -- if he really was. Yet, not even a mention of this by Wade.
To me, that seals the deal. If the injury was bullshit, then he was intentionally concocting an excuse all along, which only makes sense if he was covering up for deliberately giving less tham full effort.
