Memphis @ Cleveland

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
wow

cant believe that game was as close as it ended up to be

we were looking unstopable for the most ogf the first half and the Mike Brown decided that Snow and Wesley and Jones lineup was the way to go.....WTF.....Coach Brown is killing me softly

Drew looked great
Damon was looking big time
Hell even Z played great minus the dumb fouls...he had like 3 in a row that contributed to losing the lead

Wesley Sucks....Sasha should be starting and Shannon should be playing Wesleys minutes....I know Sasha and Shannon make some mistakes but Id rather live through those mistakes rather than watching Wesley's washed up ass

not pleased we had to play startes the distance but I honestly think LeBron wil fulfill Max's prophecy and drops 50 on the raptors

That got blown out of proportion by some on here. I've re-watched it 3 times. It was two alleged fouls. The first was a hooking foul that was questionable at best. The second was a moving pick that was an f-ing horrible call. Both calls resulted in a net -3 pts. Bottom line is we were +16 for the game when Z was on the floor. In 17 of the the last 18 minutes of the game our lead eroded by 15 while Z was on the bench.
Re-read this thread and look at how Z's critics magnify his mistakes compared to other players....it's amazing.

sorry I didnt post during the game last night....I did remember the fouls though

overall I thought Big Z had a good game and I said so in my earlier post

Drew and Z disapeared to the bench in the 2nd half whiel the lead was dwindling with Marshall playing like shit .....Coach Brown kills me sometimes

Oh i wasn't referring to you George...i was referring to posts like this -

CavAtt-
Never mind Z. I ****ing want to kill that piece of shit. He is such a ****ing cartoon. Offensive fouls, traveling, circus shots...man, I want Z dead ASAP. ****ing toolbag. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Cleve56-
And that's why Z doesn't play fourth quarters...Two possesions, two fouls.

CavAtt-
Two point game. Wow.
I blame Z.

Again, Z's two alleged fouls resulted in a net -3. The rest of the game we were +19 while he was on the floor. But all anyone remembers is two possessions. If it were anyone else it would have been bad officiating, but since it was Z it gets magnified and overblown. What's troublesome is that along with some on here, Mike Brown fails to recognize that whether or not Z is even scoring he forces the defense to play us differently...just by being on the floor. With him out we were adjusting to them instead of them adjusting to us.
Over the last 5 games - Cavs +38 when Z is on the floor....-24 when Marshall is on the floor. That's a 62 point differential over only 5 games. Yet Marsall is getting all the 4th quarter mintues. It almost cost us the game last night. He should have sat Z after the 2 BS fouls and brought him back in 5 minutes later. It worked the first 2-1/2 quarters, why go away from it???

I have sadi that Marshall has been slacking alot lately

He makes a 3 pointer or 2 and everyone seems to forget how crappy he is playing....his defense is non exisistant and his inside game is terrible

That botched layup was awful from him last night..point blank and just back rimmed it..I was like wow we're in the NBA right?

Max, there has to be a reason he hasn't played fourth quarters in any of these games, no? They don't trust him in there crunch time.

I thought Z played good last night, but I don't want to see him in there with the game on the line. The Cavaliers don't either I guess...And they are 8-3 so it's hard to argue with the logic.

I understand what you are saying, but we almost lost the game last night going away from what worked in the first 2-1/2 quarter...and that was having Z and Drew out there. Yes, it's hard to argue against 8-3, but it's also tough to argue against the +16 with him on the floor and -13 with him off. This isn't the first time this has happened this year. I was at the Atlanta game and watched the same thing happen, we blew a 10 point lead in the 4th, we only shot perimeter shots, and Marshall and Lebron bricked free throws with the game on the line...why not at least have him out there for free throws? Again, just having Z on the floor draws attention from the defense whether he is doing anything or not. He MAKES DREW BETTER. Drew scored 4 points in 12 minutes when Z wasn't on the floor last night. He scored 18 in 18 minutes when Z was on the floor with him. Whether anyone on this board respects Z or not - our opponents DO.
Obviously Mike Brown doesn't have faith in him right now....I respectfully and strongly disagree with him. Trying to shoot our way to victory from the perimeter in the 4th catches up with you sooner or later, we snuck by against a bad team last night thanks to Damon getting hot. When we have a big lead we should have Lebron going to the hole and pound it inside to the bigs to go to the line. Maybe I'm wrong, but the announcers and most everyone I talked to after the game agreed.

Max, nice post.

Agree at the end with the throws...And looking back I agree with probably throwing him in there a little longer last night considering what happened the first half with him out there.

And you are right - they did get kind of lucky at the end. If the Cavaliers had 05 Jones, they would have lost...
