Looking to tap into the depths of technical experience here on the forums. 
I'm looking heavily at one of the new Apple Studio's just released. As much as I think the M1 Ultra would be amazing, that's too pricey.
I'd be looking at the M1 Max w/ the chip upgrade and 64GB Unified memory.
I'm not clear what the equivalent power of this is to an Intel system.
Also, I'm looking for a solid display for it. I currently have an original model Acer Predator X34. It's a 1440 monitor, I'm thinking for what I do now (mostly surfing, productivity, movies), of looking for a 4k monitor. That puts me into a different aspect ratio, and most are 27 (a narrow version of what I have now). I'm torn between looking at a 5k/2k Ultrawide as a blend of the two or something else. All the monitor standards send your head spinning these days.
